Foundations of STEM Education is the second course in a 2-course sequence for obtaining the STEM Endorsement. Curriculum Integration and Design in STEM Education is designed to enable candidates to acquire knowledge of the standards of practice and apply these practices of STEM education in the classroom. Candidates will evaluate student work and provide feedback on formative and summative assessments, collaborate and plan with STEM colleagues, and create and implement an Interdisciplinary STEM lesson set/unit. This course includes an embedded clinical practice. Candidates will submit videos and reflections at the beginning of the unit, midpoint of the unit, and end of the unit as part of their clinical practice.
