**FY25: Cohort 1**
This endorsement course is the second of four courses as an introduction to Computational Thinking. It is also the last of two courses in the CS microcredential.

We will study an overview of pattern recognition, algorithm design, decomposition, and abstraction. Candidates will also problem solve in programming concepts by using block coding and start an examination of the python programming language.

Synchronous online meeting dates: 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM; September 3 September 24, October 1, October 15, October 22, October 29, and November 5.

Attendance at synchronous meetings are a requirement of the Computer Science Endorsement.

Audience: Candidates seeking the Computer Science Endorsement or the Micro Computer Science Endorsement

Technology Requirements:

A Windows 7 or newer computer with admin access to install programs
