PRE-REQUISITE: Prior completion of Orton-Gillingham training but not required.

PRESENTER: IMSE Trainers

Description of Morphology Plus Training: This training is best suited for educators of students who are reading to learn (educators of students in grades 3 – 5 recommended). 

In this course, participants will learn how to teach:
• Morphology
• Fluency
• Vocabulary
• Comprehension
• Includes additional asynchronous videos focused on encoding, decoding, writing and grammar

This course also gives an in-depth student of orthography and morphology. Participants will learn vocabulary with morphology affixes and Latin and Greek bases throughout the course. Participants will be provided with the tools needed to teach students at varying levels of reading competency and are supported with guidelines for weekly lesson plans they can implement on day one.

Audience: Teachers, Reading/Literacy Specialists, SLPs (Grades 3-5)

Lunch is NOT provided - participants will be responsible for their own lunch daily
